There are other presets available on Nexus that cater to specific tastes and you can even create your own but this guide will stick to this one example to get you started. This contains a number of custom enblocal.ini files tailored to either 32-bit or 64-bit Windows operating systems and to specific video card manufacturers with select video memory allocation. Copy "d3d9.dll" and "enbhost.exe" to your main FO3 folder (the one that contains Fallout3.exe). Download the latest version of ENBoost (must be at least v0.203 or later).
It should help reduce memory-related CTDs, stutters and lag in game. If you do not want to use an ENB preset to enhance your visuals or your PC is old and decrepit, you'll still want to install the core ENBoost for its improved memory management.
